Waiting on Wednesday #5

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. It features each blogger’s most anticipated books.

This week, my pick is Hidden (Firelight #3)

“Jacinda was supposed to bond with Cassian, the “prince” of their pride. But she resisted long before she fell in love with Will—a human and, worse, a hunter. When she ran away with Will, it ended in disaster, with Cassian’s sister, Miram, captured. Weighed down by guilt, Jacinda knows she must rescue her to set things right. Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of enemy territory.

The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself, though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control. As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian can carry out their part of the plan, there’s no guarantee they’ll all make it out alive. But what Jacinda never could have foreseen is that escaping would be only the beginning….

Loyalties are tested and sacrifices made in the explosive conclusion to Sophie Jordan’s Firelight trilogy.”

Why I Can’t Wait:

Another cover that I love! LOL! I’ve enjoyed reading the first book, even though it’s not that amazing because of the annoying heroine. But I still liked the book because of the unique and creative story about dragons and shape shifters. And I seriously love all kinds of dragons! They’re my favorite mythological creatures! I’ve enjoyed all the children’s books about them, and the Firelight series is my first YA dragon book! LOL! 🙂

Expected publication:

  1. I didn’t love Firelight. I found Jacinda’s back and forth about Will irritating at best, but I will say that the covers for this series are absolutely gorgeous. I might eventually read Vanish, but it’s not at the top of my list.

    Here’s my WoW 🙂

  2. I am waiting for this book also not because of Jacinda, I want more Cassian xD

& this is actually my first Dragon-centered book and I found that I really needed to read more of them ..
