Waiting on Wednesday #11: Through the Ever Night

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. It features each blogger’s most anticipated books.

This week, my pick is Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi

“It’s been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don’t take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe’s precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.

Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, Can their love survive through the ever night?

In this second book in her spellbinding Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi combines fantasy and dystopian elements to create a captivating love story as perilous as it is unforgettable.”

Why I Can’t Wait:

The first question I had in my mind when I saw the cover: Is this Perry? I thought he’s blonde?! Nonetheless, I still love the cover, and it still feels like that’s Perry. LOL! I’ve read the first book early this year and I had mixed emotions about it, but I still loved it in spite of it’s flaws, slow start, and it’s remembrance to Graceling. Check out my review here. I’m excited for this next installment because I’d like to know more about Perry, umm, I mean the Unity and the world that the author created in this series. 🙂

Expected Publication:

January 8th 2013 by HarperCollins

How about you? What are you waiting for? Link me up so I can stop by!

  1. I’ve seen this book highlighted on several Waiting on Wednesday’s this week and over the past few.

I admit, I haven’t read Under the Never Sky, but I am eager to pick it up at some point because it sounds really good.

    Great pick!

    • Yeah, I noticed that too, maybe it’s because of the cover! LOL! I’ll definitely look forward to your thoughts about Under the never sky. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
