Summary from Goodreads:

“Anna Whitt, the daughter of a guardian angel and a demon, promised herself she’d never do the work of her father—polluting souls. She’d been naive to make such a vow. She’d been naive about a lot of things.

Haunted by demon whisperers, Anna does whatever she can to survive, even if it means embracing her dark side and earning an unwanted reputation as her school’s party girl. Her life has never looked more bleak. And all the while there’s Kaidan Rowe, son of the Duke of Lust, plaguing her heart and mind.

When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life?”

That’s all I can really say! LOL!
I can’t actually decide if this one is much better than the first. But I’m certain that I love all the characters! It started with Anna, of course, with all her partying and stuff. But it was all for a show so that the whisperers will know that she’s working. Anna was depressed too, all because of Kaidan. I like the fact that she knows who she really wants and she doesn’t get confused by Kope, <spoiler>except maybe for that one kiss they shared together, LOL! I’m not Team Kope, if there’s a Team Kope, but that scene is also hot!</spoiler>. They traveled together to find allies because of the prophecy. I like Kope because he’s such a good guy and he cares about Anna. Oh well, Anna has been a “very” good girl, maybe because of the fact that she’s part angel. Sometimes I doubt her because she’s too good to be true, she trusts too much, she’s kinda conservative (duh), she says and does what’s right. Yeah, I think that’s because she’s part angel. LOL! I also like Blake, Kaidan’s friend, because he’s a Filipino, and he’s funny. I think I’ll just have him since Kaidan is not available. Oops, I think I need to erase Ginger from the scene. LOL! 🙂

Anyway, the reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because nothing much happened. There’s no action or any surprise. It seems like you can totally based everything from the summary of the book. The summary says it all. I think this would pass for a romance novel, not a paranormal one. However, Kaidan is so hot that I drooled a lot! O_o <spoiler>And it’s nice to know that they are finally together.</spoiler> Even though Kaidan is a jerk most of the time, he actually redeemed himself towards the end of the book. I just love how sweet Kaidan is! ♥

I wish there’s a third book already!!! 🙂
